I came across this website while doing some research on boat cranes in general. Of all the crap out there on the internet this site really stands out on both usability and aesthetics. Do you realize how many different types of boat cranes are out there?

Davit Cranes come in a few different flavors:

GRA – Gravity roller track davit (Miranda) – usually above promenade decks.
SPG – Single pivot gravity davit (Radial) – for many different deck spaces.
FFD – Free fall davit – For free fall lifeboats on stern
QD – Quadrantal davit – Old mechanical style, often hand cranked into outboard position

For those of us who completely lack a green thumb (or have a brown thumb) you’re going to need some help if you want that beautiful lawn. Enter CRI Irrigation. What I love about CRI is the owner of the company’s no nonsense attitude. Russ is extremely knowledgeable and is well-rounded with both providing a great service , and giving you good information in order to make intelligent choices. I personally love all the history/science/travel type channels I get. H2, National Geographic Wild, etc keeps me happy day after day. Having the DVR is also such a great thing as well – I just record what I want and my playlist is never empty. Well worth the money as far as I’m concerned.

My kids also love the directtv channel selection. My 3 year old absolutely cannot get enough Sprout, which is a 24/7 channel aimed at small children. Original programming & great hosts make the channel an absolute necessity in my household. Nightime with Nina is great!

As for the older kids Teennick is constantly on. It kinda gives me a headache with the never ending lineup of tween entertainment, but hey the kids like it so it’s all good.

Then there is the Simmons law firm. The commercials are simply attorneys talking about the cases they litigate. They are a mesothelioma law firm that actually gives out some really good information on their videos. In a world of ill-done and downright cheezy late night commercials, this law firm really sticks out.

On behalf of all the insomniacs out there I’d like to thank the Simmons Firm for putting out very good marketing during a time that…well doesn’t have very good quality commercials. Thanks!

I can say without a second of hesitation that lifehacker is seriously one of the greatest jewels of the internet because the site helps you live a better life by giving you guides on damn near anything you could possibly need a guide on. If you’re a frugal person it offers a bunch of tips to save money on bills & making your own products. Whether you’re a techie, a foodie, a frugal person or just a common layperson you’re going to find a bunch of hugely useful information.

It’s crazy how many design resources there are out there. I start out looking for website design inspiration, and I find a site containing TONS of concepts for rooms, floorplans, entire houses and even cars. Aside from the offline inspiration, the site itself is very well designed. Very visual due to all the pictures, which is what you’d expect.

If you’re going to be planning out a large building/complex/etc this site is a huge resource for inspiration. While you’re out there planning out your new buildings don’t forget the great bronze plaques!

The magic of Woot isn’t so much the great products they sell, that can range from RC Planes to Electric Scooters, but rather the hilarious product narratives for each deal they offer up. Every day the narrative is genius, hilarious and sprinkled with just enough sadism to be hilarious. I don’t know where they got so much creative juice, but they have a seemingly endless amount of it.

From a web developer point of view (because I kinda am) using subdomains is freaking genius. Instead of having to secure a new domain or modify their site every time they want to expand, all they have to do is set up a new subdomain.

Anyway, I found a great site for starting this journey – Fast Forward Academy offers enrolled agent continuing education programs that will allow you to earn the education and credentials needed to become a tax preparer.

Why this site? It’s full of really good information & tools. You can access a bunch of example tests to practice on, and the site is constantly updated with good information such as a recent post on ea cpe requirements. Not sure what that even means? Go check out the site!

Overall it’s a well-built site and offers a wealth of knowledge that’ll help you find your own way though this crazy thing called life.

All this – and it’s free! At one point you could buy a subscription, but it looks like that option went away. I never really had an issue with my free account – I think I hit my account limit once or twice in the 5+ years of using Pandora. The limits are gone now so that doesn’t’ matter anymore.

Not too long ago Pandora also added comedy channels to the service. I LOVE this feature. I discover great comics all the time simply by playing my comedy playlist.
